Features

The Netis P116GC is designed for wired networks that require centralised power delivery to connected devices. Sixteen 10/100/1000 Mbps ports carry network data and PoE+ power, while two separate Gigabit uplink ports connect the switch to a router, server or another switch.

IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at support provides power for compatible PoE devices. The integrated power supply delivers a total PoE budget of 240 W for access points, IP cameras, IP phones and other network equipment.

The switch supports Normal Mode and Port VLAN with Watch Dog Mode. Port VLAN isolates connected endpoints from each other, while the Watch Dog function monitors PoE connections and helps restore the operation of an unresponsive device.

All ports support automatic speed negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX. IEEE 802.3x flow control is used for full-duplex connections, while backpressure flow control supports half-duplex operation.

A switching capacity of 36 Gbps allows traffic to be forwarded between ports at wire speed. The 2K MAC address table supports automatic address learning and ageing without manual configuration.
