The DIGITUS HDMI repeater DS-55901 is placed between the signal source and the display, regenerating the HDMI signal that weakens over long distances. This allows the use of standard passive cables up to 35 metres without noticeable image degradation.

The built-in equaliser is manually adjustable across 8 levels (0 to 7). Each setting corresponds to a specific cable length, enabling precise compensation tailored to the actual installation — from short runs to the full 35 metres.

The device is fully transparent to HDCP and passes all data without loss: from 1080p@60 Hz to 3D formats and multichannel audio. Audio is transmitted uncompressed or compressed — LPCM, DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD — depending on the source.

The compact housing has no external power supply — power is drawn from the HDMI input. This simplifies installation in hard-to-reach locations, such as behind walls or inside junction boxes.
